About Camino

Due to global warming,
Yanggu, a border region in Gangwon Province with a population of 20,000 and a region at risk of extinction,
has newly emerged as a prominent apple-producing area on the Korean Peninsula.

During a visit to an apple farm in Yanggu to help with farm work,
we met a farmer who, practicing "Our Farming," "Climate Farming," and "Life Farming,"
chooses to use minimal pesticides,
accepting the increased number of blemished apples (known as patchi apples).
That journey began there.

To pave the way for a virtuous cycle of making the best use of local climate agricultural products,
we prioritize purchasing climate-friendly apples,
and through the research, development, and education of processed products,
we strive to create a sustainable farming ecosystem for small-scale, elderly, and female farmers,
as well as climate farmers.

We aim to establish a connected community that is small, slow, beautiful, and deeply interconnected,
which, although a minority locally, paradoxically aligns with the global mainstream movement.

As Yanggu's first social enterprise dedicated to contributing to the local community,
we walk the path of "Hands and Ways Saving the Earth through Wounded Apples."
